Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ProposalLab (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

ProposalLab provides AI-assisted document generation, editing, review, and export tools. The Service produces automated templates for informational purposes only and does not provide legal advice. See our Legal Disclaimer for important limitations.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding access to your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information and be at least 18 years old.

3. Plans and billing

  • The free plan includes up to 3 AI actions per calendar month, where each proposal generation or AI review counts as one action.
  • Free-plan AI actions are served by a fast, cost-efficient model (currently Anthropic Claude Haiku). Premium models (such as Claude Opus, GPT-4o, and Grok) are available on the Pro plan. The specific models offered may change over time.
  • Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled.
  • You may cancel at any time; access continues through the current billing period.

4. Fair use

The Pro plan is offered on an unlimited-use basis subject to fair use. To protect service quality and prevent abuse, automated, scripted, or otherwise excessive usage may be rate- limited, and Pro accounts are subject to a fair-use ceiling of 1,000 AI actions per calendar month. We will make reasonable efforts to contact you before taking action, and you may request a higher limit for legitimate high-volume use.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to generate unlawful content, infringe others' rights, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the documents and inputs you create. You grant us a limited license to process them solely to provide the Service.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ProposalLab is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any reliance on documents or analyses produced by the Service.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
